Hello ppl

I wanna talk abt my love for the piano
The piano is a beautiful instrument, capable of producing a wide range of songs, one of the most versatile instruments
It allows for multiple notes to be played at the same time(up to 10 cuz u got 10 fingers hahahas!)
It also allows you to play sounds of different loudness, different ways(stacato, legato etc)

On top of that, virtually any song can be played on it, from classical to pop to rock to jazz to modern music and many many more
That's why i love the piano, it's versitity
Only problem is tht it isnt portable(unlike a guitar)

Ok those are just a few simple reasons why i love the piano so much
More importantly, what i love most
is tht in order to play the piano, you need lots of time and slowly climb up the grades

intially, it's hell....
It's very tiring, and you always want to give up, every song is a challenge
first the notes, then the key, then the beat, etc

But then as you go up the grades....
It seems to get easier to master the notes
Only thing now is tht now we strive for perfection, how accurate, how you express it, how you send the music out for your listener.
The music is no longer just for the sake of getting the tune out
It's now abt every nuance, every note, how it is being struck-it makes a difference

Today I played two pieces for myself
2 pieces i've been playing for at least 3 years already
They were ALMOST flawless.....
And i thoroughly enjoyed every note i played, i timed every single one of them to the way i liked it
That is the beauty of music

You are the one in control
Every effort you put into it is reciprocated
When you practise, the results are obvious

Everytime i'm down, i will somehow play a song, play a few notes
And somehow, it never fails to cheer me up
I can poar out all my emotions into the piece
And let my feeligns be heard through sound

It doesnt matter who listens
What matters is tht i listen to it an enjoy what i play

To all those who are learning piano out there,
Never ever ever ever give up

Ultimately, at the end of the day, it is worth it
When you can play almost any song,
all you need is the practise and maybe some pointers from your teacher once in a while

Only those who play the piano and know how to take note of every single note played understand how i feel and what i mean.
